Best pizza place around! Mama herself came out with our appetizer (fried ravioli) and chatted with us for a while (we're from the twin cities in Minnesota) and was very active in making sure our experience was fantastic. It was my first time in thunder bay, and I will remember this place if I ever come back!!! The menu was fantastic and authentic Italian, just wait till you see mama, the cutest Italian lady who's cuisine clearly originated in Italy! Go here! Don't think about it, just do it and you won't regret it

I have not been here since the new owners took over but when Mama Alfa and Ralph ran this restaurant it was incredible. Her pasta was made to order, the pizza was delicious and not too greasy, and the ceasar salad was a homemade secret recipe. I understand the new owners have all the old recipes and very much hope they are honouring this local legend. Rest in Peace Mama Alfa. We love you!

We ordered delivery and the owner himself brought the pizza. Not only was he extremely friendly, but this was the best pizza I’ve ever had. The sauce is amazing! Perfect cheese and giant pepperoni. Garlic bread was also insanely good! It was worth waiting a little longer for fresh, everything obviously homemade and top quality!

In all the years I lived in Thunder Bay, I never once went there or even ordered take out. What a regret. Great food, top-shelf service in a quaint little place that is clean with a feel of “old-school.” We will be back, and soon!

Haven't had Mama Alfas since I was in highschool I drove past and I decided to call an order from them again to see if it was still as good as I remembered. Oh man was I not disappointed, tasted just like how I remembered! Great place I don't know why I ever stopped going! Great service, great atmosphere and even better pizza! If you haven't tried them then give them a try. You won't be disappointed! 5 stars!
